YouTube for iOS updated with captions, better search

YouTube for iOS is getting a minor update today. The interface has been tweaked slightly with a translucent sidebar found in other Google apps for iOS and the iOS 7 keyboard to match. Closed captions also return in this update, which can be found under the menu button at the top right of playing videos. Here’s where you’ll also find options to toggle different resolutions, not just standard and high definition.

Last but not least, search within YouTube for iOS has improved to include playlists, channels, and videos in the same results list, although you can navigate to Channels or Playlists specifically if you know what you’re looking for.
